6 Months Old!!

Holy cow when did Michael turn 6 months old. I swear I just had him. Anyhow this post is dedicated to my sweet little Michael. Lets see he had his appointment today and he's getting big: 17lbs 12 oz 27 inches long and a nice large head of 18 inches :) He just started eating rice cereal a few weeks ago and likes it. He can role over pretty good both ways (when he wants to) and is sitting up with some support. He just got his 1st vaccine today and handle it like a champ and his two bottom teeth are trying to breal through. Michael is honestly such a wonderful baby and is always smiling, laughing and lately just yelling for fun. It's unreal sometimes I'll go check on him in the morning and he's just laying there smiling. He can basically fall asleep on his own and always sleeps at least 8 hours and then falls back asleep for a few more hours. He loves his big brother Jack and he always smiles at him and watches him when ever we go in the car. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful baby and we're so blessed to have him in our family. We love you Mynul (that's what Jack calls him)

Night Stand

So a couple of months ago I found this little night stand at a yard sale and I only paid $2 (to be honest I think a kid made it in shop class). Right when I saw it I knew it was gonna go in Jack's room; so I decided to redo the night stand. I think it turned out pretty decent especially since this was my first time ever refinishing furniture; this was really fun and I can't wait to do it again :)

Yard Sales!!!

So I've been hittin up yards sales lately and have found so many nice great quality items. Mainly I get things for my boys that I really want for them but just can't afford to go out and buy it all. Anyhow my community had its annual community yard sale and approximetly 30 families participated.Us along with my brother Bruce participated and had some good success. Crystle, Bruce's wife, and I decided to go check out the neighborhood sales and I came accross something that I have really been wanting and needing for the past few months now, a double stroller. The girl was asking $75 it was really nice converts any baby car seat; the front seat can face in or out. I knew my husband would say, "hmmm are you sure, that's a lot" and I was right he said that, which I understand because $75 is a lot for us right now but to go by a new double stroller you'd pay around $150 at least, so I was bummed. He said to go offer her $25 and I was like k that's sad she's gonna be offended and there's no way she'll take that. Well the sales were coming to a close and I could see the stroller was still sitting there so I said what the hey I'm gonna tell her the honest truth and say what my husband would let me spend and so I did and she said OK!!!! I was so fricken excited. I'm so glad I waited because it's an awesome stroller.
